TRI012: 7-Day Check-in - Execute the Daily Integrity Check-In

A seven-day identity challenge to build a daily journaling ritual, score your decisions with the DII 1-5 scale, and reveal the patterns that refine your guardrails and drives.

Build Your Daily Integrity Check-In and Start Scoring Your Decisions

This challenge helps you turn lived experience into data using the Resonance Core Framework.

Over seven days, you will build a daily journaling ritual, learn to score your decisions with the Decision Integrity Index (DII), and start reading the patterns that refine your guardrails and drives.

Prerequisites: a defined identity and an established value-virtue-drive system.

Each day includes:

  • A primary objective
  • A guided exercise
  • A reflection prompt
  • A micro-activation (your daily ritual)

Keep it small. Five to ten minutes. Pen and paper or digital — whatever is easiest. Don't over-write; a ritual you can sustain beats a perfect entry you abandon. If your cues start firing, shrink the entry down to one line and build from there.

Day 1: Set Up Your Journal & Map Your Guardrails

Objective:

  • Create the container and take inventory of the edges you already live inside

Exercise:

  1. On the first page, write your value-virtue-drive system so it's always in view
  2. List your current guardrails: ethical, principle, optional, and external
  3. Note where a guardrail feels too strict, too loose, or unclear

Note:

If you wish, you may use The Journaling Template Demo as a placeholder to help you as you generate your Journal.

Reflection prompt:

  • Which Guardrails are truly yours, and which were simply handed to you?

Micro-activation:

  • Choose a consistent time and place for tonight's entry (Marcus Aurelius wrote before bed, for example).

Day 2: Write Your First Purposeful Entry

Objective:

  • Record one real event as raw data, with no slant

Exercise:

  • Pick one moment from today where your identity was on the line
  • Describe it step one, step two, step three — what happened, who was involved, what you chose
  • Note the somatic cues, emotional cues, and narratives that showed up

Reflection prompt:

  • Where did bias or the ego try to creep into your writing?

Micro-activation:

  • Before writing, ground yourself so you recall rather than relive

Day 3: Introduce DII Scoring (1–5)

Objective:

  • Attach a stable, quantitative score to a decision

Exercise:

  • Score today's key decision on the DII scale:
    • 1 Misaligned / Distorted
    • 2 Some alignment, unclear
    • 3 Neutral / mixed
    • 4 Mostly aligned
    • 5 Fully aligned with Identity and DRIVEs

Reflection prompt:

  • Why did you choose that number instead of the one above or below it?

Micro-activation:

  • Record one decision and its DII score

Day 4: Justify Your Score with Logos, Pathos, Ethos

Objective:

  • Make the score honest by backing it with data

Exercise:

  • For today's score, write:
    • Logos — Does this decision make logical, coherent sense?
    • Pathos — How did it feel? Did it resonate? What were the somatic cues?
    • Ethos — How did it align (or not) with your identity, morals, and guardrails?

Reflection prompt:

  • Would a five still be a five if you had to defend it with data?

Micro-activation:

  • Score one decision and write the three-lens justification beneath it

Day 5: Read Your Guardrails Against Reality

Objective:

  • Test whether your guardrails match how you actually decide

Exercise:

  • Review the past entries for a decision that felt off
  • Ask: was a guardrail too strict, missing, or misaligned?
  • Note one guardrail to add, refine, or drop through modular precision

Reflection prompt:

  • Where is a Guardrail limiting a choice that would actually serve you?

Micro-activation:

  • Journal and score one decision, then flag any guardrail it exposed

Day 6: Hunt for Patterns

Objective:

  • Turn several days of entries into a trend

Exercise:

  • Read your week of entries together
  • Circle repeated cues, emotional loops, and recurring narratives
  • Name the hidden truth the pattern is pointing to

Reflection prompt:

  • What is your Vast Unknown showing you that a single entry couldn't?

Micro-activation:

  • Journal and score today, then note whether the pattern repeats

Day 7: Integrate the Triad & Choose What Changes

Objective:

  • Combine guardrails, journaling, and the DII into one feedback loop

Exercise:

  1. What did you learn about your Identity this week?
  2. What did you learn about your cues and narratives?
  3. Where did your DII scores drop, and why?
  4. Which guardrails need to be added, refined, or dropped?
  5. Which drives or MVDs need updating?
  6. What will your daily ritual look like going forward?

Reflection prompt:

  • What part of your Identity feels more coherent now than it did on Day 1?

Micro-activation:

  • Write and score one final entry, then commit journaling as an ongoing MVD

Closing

By completing this challenge, you have:

  • Built a daily journaling ritual
  • Recorded experience as raw, unbiased data
  • Scored decisions on the DII 1–5 scale
  • Justified each score with logos, pathos, and ethos
  • Read patterns across multiple entries
  • Tested and refined your guardrails
  • Started the feedback loop that quantifies your transformation

Guardrails prevent drift. Journaling reveals the patterns. The DII quantifies the alignment. Together they are The Triad of Decision Integrity.
